Smith Finishes Eighth In 100 Breast At US Phillips 66 Nationals

INDIANAPOLIS – UNC rising junior Skyler Smith capped off her week at the 2023 US Phillips 66 National Championships with an eighth-place finish in the 100-meter breaststroke Saturday night at the Indiana University Natatorium.
Smith posted of 1:08.65 in the finals after setting a school record in the preliminaries with a personal-best time of 1:08.20. She finished fourth in the 50-meter breast with a personal-best and UNC record time of 30.41.
Rising senior Boyd Poelke competed in the men's 100-meter butterfly and placed seventh in the C final, 23rd overall, with a time of 25.29.
