CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Continuing its five-game home stretch, the third-ranked University of North Carolina women's soccer team welcomes No. 24 USC to Dorrance Field on Sunday, Aug. 27, for a 1 p.m. ET kickoff. The game will broadcast on ACCNX with Daron Vaught and Kyle Straub on call.

North Carolina enters the contest with a 1-0-2 record, while Southern Cal boasts a 2-0 mark on the young season.
This will be the sixth meeting between UNC and USC in program history, and first non-neutral site match played in Chapel Hill.
The Tar Heels lead the all-time series at 4-1, having outscored the Trojans 12-6.
Sunday will be the first meeting since Nov. 29, 2019, in the NCAA Quarterfinals, when UNC posted a 3-2 win over USC.
In that 2019 NCAA Quarterfinal contest, then-freshman Maycee Bell netted the game-winner in the 69th minute to send Carolina to the College Cup.
Defender Savy King was named the ACC Defensive Player of the Week on Aug. 22, becoming the first true UNC freshman to earn a league weekly honor since 2019.
The Tar Heels have held all three of their 2023 opponents to under five shots: No. 10 Penn State (5), Cal (2) and Wisconsin (1).
Dating back to 2018, North Carolina remains undefeated in the month of August.
