Baseball Announces Fall Exhibition Schedule

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The UNC baseball team will host Walters State Community College and Liberty for a pair of exhibition games this fall, announced head coach Scott Forbes on Monday.
The Tar Heels will welcome Walters State to Boshamer Stadium for a 3 p.m. exhibition on Friday, Sept. 22, before hosting Liberty at 6 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 20. Admission to the each game is free.
The annual Fall World Series will be a five-game series beginning Oct. 24 and continuing through Oct. 28. Each intrasquad scrimmage is free and open to the public.
Any changes made to the schedule will be announced on the program's Twitter account, @DiamondHeels.
UNC returns 19 letterwinners from last season, including ACC Defensive Player of the Year Vance Honeycutt, All-ACC second baseman Jackson Van De Brake and All-ACC Freshman Team outfielder Casey Cook.
