Nine members of the Tar Heel men's tennis team will continue their drive to qualify for the NCAA Individual Championships when they appear at the ITA Carolina Regional this weekend at the Cary Tennis Park in Cary, N.C.

Hosted by Duke University, the event will run Thursday through Monday at the Cary Tennis Park (located at 2727 Louis Stephens Drive in Cary).

Carolina's Patrick Schoen, Logan Zapp and Constantinos Djakouris will compete in the main draw. Diego Jarry, Vladislav Melnic, Nick Mangiapane, Dennis Perumov, Anthony Wright and Kuangqing Xu will begin play in the qualifying draw.

In the doubles draw, UNC's competitors will include the teams of Zapp and Schoen, Melnic and Jarry, Wright and Djakouris and Mangiapane and Xu.

The singles qualifying, singles main and doubles main draw each will include 64 entries. The qualifying draw will be on Thursday, with the singles and doubles main draws beginning on Friday.
