Volleyball Drops Match To No. 3 Louisville

November 17, 2024 | Volleyball

PITTSBURGH, PA. – North Carolina volleyball (19-6, 11-5 ACC) fell on the road to No. 3 Louisville (23-3, 15-1 ACC) on Sunday, Nov. 17.

The Tar Heels battled with the Cardinals in the second set, holding a three point lead at one point, but the Louisville fire power was too much to overcome.

This is only the third time this season that Carolina was swept.

NOTABLES:

Zoe Behrendt recorded double-digit assists for the 37th consecutive game dating back to last season.
Taylor Eisert and Behrendt have each recorded double-digit assists for 12 straight matches.
Emani' Foster led the team with seven kills

The Tar Heels will return home for a three game homestand, beginning with Senior Day on Friday, Nov. 22 against Cal at 7 P.M. EST at Carmichael Arena.
