Seven Tar Heel Wrestlers Victorious At Southeast Open

ROANOKE, Va. – Seven North Carolina wrestlers finished atop the podium at the Southeast Open, in the season debut for the 2024-25 Tar Heels.

Spencer Moore (125), Ethan Oakley (133) and Jayden Scott (141) won their respective weight classes in the Open Division. In the Freshman/Sophomore, Elias Navida (133), Nick O'Neill (141), Jake Dailey (184) and Robert Platt (197) took home the gold.

In total, 23 Tar Heels placed on the day, for a Tar Heel roster that featured 13 new faces on Saturday.

Carolina begins the dual portion of the schedule next Saturday, facing Drexel and Navy in Annapolis.
