COLUMBIA, S.C. – Carolina swimming opened the South Carolina Invitational on a hot streak, qualified four relay teams for the NCAA Championships, and set seven pool records and a school record in the men's 200 IM.

Men's Results
Walker Davis, Louis Dramm, Patrick Hussey, and PJ Foy set the school and pool record while qualifying for the NCAA Championship in the men's 200-yard free relay (1:16.35), winning the finals by two seconds. Sean Setzer, Boyd Poelke, Nate Hohm, and Reid Miller also claimed second in this race with a time of 1:18.24.

Dramm broke his 200-yard IM school record with a time of 1:41.84 and set a new pool record. JT Schmid (1:44.10) passed Sebastian Lunak's fourth-place all-time mark from last year as he finished second behind Dramm.

Hussey (4:15.35) moved into second place all-time in the men's 500 free at passing Jorden Merrilees from 2017 while also setting a pool record.

Foy (19.43) moved into third all-time in the 50 free passing Tomas Sungalia from 2022, setting a pool record.

The men wrapped up the night by punching their ticket to the NCAA Championships in the 400-yard medley relay (3:03.49). Davis, Ben Delmar, Poelke, and Hussey were the fourth relay group to punch their ticket tonight and also set a new pool record.

Women's Results
Greer Pattison, Georgia Nel, Elizabeth Sowards, and Skyler Smith punched their ticket to the NCAA Championships with an automatic qualifier time of 1:27.63, winning their 200-yard free relay by four seconds and setting a new pool record. Madeline Smith, Eden Goettsch, Mackenzie Headley, and Michaela Chokureva finished in second at 1:31.12.

Pattison, Nel, Sowards, and Smith followed up their first relay win with a second with a time of 3:29.65, earning another automatic qualifier to the NCAA Championships along with a pool record in the 400-yard medley relay.

Ava Muzzy (4:44.77) moved into tenth all-time in the women's 500 free passing Kelsey Cummings from 2013.

Mary Macaulay (1:56.55) moved into third all-time in the 200-yard IM, passing Lexi Rudolph (1:56.63) from last year. Madeline Smith (1:57.22) moved into sixth all-time with her time from prelims passing Layne Brodie's from 2011.
