Time To Dance: Volleyball Heads To NCAA Tournament For 20th Time

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – For the 20th time in program history and the first time since 2021, the Carolina volleyball team is heading to the NCAA Tournament.
The Tar Heels will head to Penn State to take on Ivy League champion Yale on Friday at 5 P.M.
Head Coach Mike Schall will return to his alma mater for the NCAA Tournament. He played at Penn State from 1991-94, where he was a two-time team co-captain.
In year two at Carolina, Schall guided the Tar Heels to a 22-7 record, going 14-6 in the ACC play. The 2024 campaign was the 31st time in program history Carolina reached the 20-win mark and the first time since 2021.
The winner of UNC/Yale will take on the winner of Penn State/Delaware State.
