GREENSBORO, N.C. –  Three North Carolina swimmers finished in the top five on the final day of the U.S. Open Championships.
Maren Conze (1:56.53) finished tenth in the 200 back.
Georgia Nel (49.04) secured a fifth-place finish in the 100 free.Â
Xavier Ruiz (1:56.61) finished in fourth in the 200 breast.Â
Lucy Walker and Skyler Smith advanced to the finals, but did not compete.
