CHAPEL HIL, N.C. – North Carolina graduate student Natalie Timinskas has been named to the first-ever Atlantic Coast Conference Rowing Watch List, announced on Thursday by the league.
Timinskas is among nine honorees, one from each ACC team.
"We are pumped that Natalie chose to stay for a grad year," UNC coach Erin Neppel said. "We look forward to seeing her continue to make a big impact and lead the team with her experience and relentless work ethic."
The ACC is the only conference with a preseason rowing watch list.
Timinskas is one of four members of the Watch List who earned All-ACC honors last season. A second-team member, she is joined on the Watch List by first-team members Kamile Kralikaite of Syracuse, Notre Dame's Natalie Hoefer and Miami's Constance Stirling.
The 2024 season gets underway on Saturday, March 16, when Louisville hosts the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational in Oak Ridge, Tenn. In addition to UNC and Louisville, the event includes Duke and Notre Dame.
