Austin Greaser shot a final-round 71 to finish fifth at the Valspar Collegiate Tuesday at the Floridian National Golf Club in Palm City, Fla.
Florida State's Luke Clanton was medalist by five strokes and the Seminoles took home the team title at 19-under 833, four shots better than Vanderbilt. Arizona State was third at 10 under.
Carolina shot 280-289-287 on the par 71 course to finish eighth at 4-over 856.
Greaser shot 66-69-71 for a 7-over 206 for his 12th career top-five finish.
Dylan Menante shot 72 in all three rounds to tie for 32nd at 3-over 216. Peter Fountain closed with a 68 to tie for 38th at 4-over 217 (71-78-68).
