Donofrio Named To All-ACC Tournament Team

CHARLOTTE – UNC outfielder Anthony Donofrio was named to the 2024 ACC Baseball Championship All-Tournament Team Sunday afternoon following the conclusion of the championship game.
Donofrio hit .500 (5-10) in the Tar Heels' two games with two home runs, six RBIs, three runs scored, a double and a triple. North Carolina defeated Pitt 12-2 before falling to Wake Forest 9-5 in 12 innings.
In the opening round game against Pitt, Donofrio bookended his at-bats with a leadoff home run and a three-run blast in the ninth. He singled and walked three times in his other four plate appearances and finished with a career-high five RBIs, while recording his seventh three-hit game of the season. He had two hits with a double and RBI against Wake Forest.
The field of 64 teams that will compete for the 2024 NCAA college baseball championship will be announced at 12 p.m. ET on Monday, May 27 on ESPN2.
