Heels Wrap Up Second Week Of Scrimmages

Chapel Hill, NC--Â The North Carolina Tar Heels wrapped up their second week of Fall Ball with a six-inning scrimmage on Sunday afternoon that ended in a 5-5 tie. There were ten total base hits in the scrimmage and one error.
Offensive highlights: Parker McCoy, who doubled, was 2-3 with one RBI and one run scored. Lee Sowers, who also had a double, was 2-3 with one run scored. Jackson Van De Brake was 2-4 with three RBI and one run scored. Van De Brake had a double of his own, as did Gavin Gallaher. Sam Angelo belted a 390-foot solo home run to left center.
Pitching highlights:  Tom Chmielewski, Harrison Lewis and Ryan Hench threw for Navy, with Dyan Weber, Andrew Wallen  and Mason Yokum threw for Blue. Lewis and Wallen each threw 1.0 scoreless inning.
The Tar Heels will hold their next scrimmage on Thursday.
