Chapel Hill, NC-- A strong, sudden thunderstorm caused the Tar Heels's Thursday scrimmage to end with one out in the bottom of the fourth inning on Thursday afternoon that saw Navy take a 5-1 win over Blue at Boshamer Stadium.

Offensive highlights: Rom Kellis V and Alex Madera were the only players with multiple base hits. Kellis V was 2-2 with two RBI and one run scored while stroking a pair of doubles, while Madera was 2-3. Macaddin Dye belted a 383-foot homer to left center, and Kane Kepley and Sawyer Black each tripled. Kepley stole a pair of bases.

Pitching highlights: Only three pitchers saw action in the shortened scrimmage. Kyle Percival threw for Navy with Aidan Haugh and Boston Flannery throwing for Blue. Percival gave up one run on two hits while sriking out five and walking just one in 3.1 innings of action.

The Tar Heels will hold their next scrimmage on Friday afternoon.
