Chapel Hill, NC-- The North Carolina Tar Heels wrapped up their third week of scrimmages with a seven-inning scrimmage on Friday afternoon at Boshamer Stadium as Blue topped Navy 5-1. There were eight total base hits and a combined three errors.

Offensive highlights: Tyson Bass and Gavin Gallaher were the only players with multiple base hits. Bass, who had a 400-foot homer to left center as well as a double, was 2-2 with one RBI and two runs scored. Gallaher, who had a double to right center, was 2-3 with one run scored. Sam Angelo drilled a 407-foot, three-run homer to right center. A Rom Kellis V double was the only other base hit.

Pitching highlights: Tom Chmielewski and Camron Seagraves threw for Blue, with Dylan Weber, Harrison Yokum and Mason Yokum seeing action for Navy. Chmielewski tossed 4.0 scoreless innings by giving up two hits while striking out three. Weber gave up two runs in 3.2 innings, giving up three hits. Weber struck out seven batters while walking none.
