Baseball Releases Fall Schedule

CHAPEL HILL, NC – The 2025 Diamond Heels will hold their first official team practice of the fall on Friday, Sept. 6, before hosting two perennial powerhouse junior college programs in exhibition games this fall, which culminates with the Fall World Series Oct. 15, 16, and 18.

The Tar Heels will welcome Walters State Community College to Boshamer Stadium for an exhibition contest on Friday, Oct. 4 and host Florence-Darlington Technical College on Friday, Oct. 11. Both games are scheduled for a 5 p.m. first pitch and admission to Boshamer Stadium is free.

The annual Fall World Series will commence on Tuesday, Oct. 15 with subsequent contests on Wednesday, Oct. 16 and Friday, Oct. 18. Game times will be announced on social media and GoHeels.com closer to game day.

Additional intrasquad scrimmages may be open to the public throughout the fall and will be announced on social media, @DiamondHeels.

Carolina returns 23 lettermen from the 2024 squad that reached the College World Series including Freshman All-Americans Jason DeCaro and Luke Stevenson.
