Carolina Set To Host ITA Kickoff Weekend

The Lead: After dropping a highly competitive contest to No. 6 Virginia on Monday, the No. 9 North Carolina Tar Heels aim to get back in the win column during ITA Kickoff Weekend. Over the course of this weekend, four teams will compete with the winner cementing a spot in the ITA National Team Indoor Championship in early February.
Storylines:
- On Saturday, all four teams will compete with the winners facing off on Sunday at 2 p.m.
- The consolation match will take place at 10 a.m. on Sunday.
- Brian Kalbas climbed to 773 career victories last week against Gardner-Webb.
- Kalbas owns the third-most victories all-time and is the nation's active leader.
- Carolina has won four of the last five ITA Indoor Team Championships.
- UNC won four-straight ITA Championships from 2020-23.
