Men's Tennis Hosting Illinois Saturday

The University of North Carolina men's tennis team will return home this weekend to host Illinois on Saturday February 1. Action will begin at 3:30 p.m. on the Cone-Kenfield Indoor Courts at the Chewning Tennis Center.
The Tar Heels (2-1) split a pair of matches last weekend at an ITA Kickoff Weekend regional in Winston-Salem, N.C., losing by a 4-1 score to Memphis in the opening round and beating Charlotte, 4-2, in the third-place match.
Saturday will mark the second home match of the season for UNC, which blanked James Madison, 7-0, on January 19 in its season opener in Chapel Hill.
A season ago, the Illini beat Carolina twice, including a 4-3 win in Chapel Hill in the first round of the ITA Kickoff and 4-2 a week later in Urbana-Champaign, Ill.
