• Carolina is 6-0 for the first time since winning the first seven games in 2016-17.
• Henri Veesaar set career highs with 24 points and 13 rebounds.
• It was Veesaar's third career 20-point game (second this season) and third career double (all this season).
• Veesaar tied his career best with nine field goals (in 14 attempts).
• Caleb Wilson had 18 points and 12 rebounds. It was his fourth consecutive double-double. He is the first Tar Heel freshman ever with four consecutive double-doubles. Armando Bacot (twice), Antawn Jamison and Mike O'Koren had three in a row.
• Wilson went 10 for 10 from the free throw line. He is the first Tar Heel to shoot 10 for 10 from the line since RJ Davis vs. Arkansas on 11/24/2023 in The Bahamas.
• Wilson is the first Tar Heel freshman to make 10 free throws in a game since Cole Anthony went 14 for 14 vs. Boston College on 2/1/2020.
• Carolina trailed two times in the first half for a total of 35 seconds. It was the first time in three games that UNC trailed.
• It was the fifth time in six games UNC trailed for less than 2:00.
• Carolina shot 53.3% from the floor in the second half and 50.9% for the game.
• UNC is 4-0 this season and 39-1 under head coach Hubert Davis when it shoots 50% or better from the floor.
• UNC went 21 for 27 from the free throw line. UNC has won seven straight games when it makes 20 or more free throws.
• The Tar Heels turned the ball over 11 times in the first half that led to 10 points for the Bonnies. In the second half, UNC committed just two turnovers and neither led to points for SBU.
• The Tar Heels scored only 14 points in the paint in the first half and 22 in the second.
• Kyan Evans made three 3FGs and finished with 11 points. It was his first double-figure scoring game since the win over Kansas. He had made two threes combined in the previous three games.
• Luka Bogavac made two 3FGs, the fourth-straight game he made multiple three-pointers.
• Carolina scored 50 second-half points. It was the fourth time this season the Tar Heels scored 50 or more points in a half.
• Carolina is 2-0 all-time vs. the Bonnies. They played for the first time since 3/15/1968.
