Max Stakun-Pickering Opens Season At Liberty

LYNCHBURG, VA - Max Stakun-Pickering opened the first track meet of the season for Carolina with a second place finish in the heptathlon at the Liberty Kickoff meet. Stakun-Pickering finished top three in six of the seven events. The senior tied his 60m personal best time as he finished in third in the event and also landed a personal best distance in the shot put.
