Kropp, Nikolai Tabbed United Soccer Coaches All-Region

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – University of North Carolina men's soccer standouts Dylan Kropp and Luca Nikolai have been named United Soccer Coaches All-South Region, the organization announced on Tuesday. Kropp was named to the second team, while Nikolai was tabbed third team.
A second-team All-ACC selection, Kropp anchored a defense that entered the NCAA Tournament with a .778 goals against average, which ranked 22nd nationally and third in the ACC. He started all 20 matches and played 1,825 of a possible 1,840 minutes during the season. Kropp also contributed to eight shutouts and scored one goal on the year.
Nikolai also started all 20 matches on defense and in the midfield and was named second-team All-ACC. He scored three goals and contributed seven assists for 13 points, while leading the team in shots with 55. Nikolai also contributed to the defensive efforts as one of the nation's top two-way players. In addition, Nikolai has been invited to the 2025 MLS College Showcase. Nikolai was one of 45 invitees to the four-day talent evaluation event in Mesa, Ariz. Dec. 10-13.
