UNC-Clemson Postgame Notes

• The 20-point margin equaled the Tigers' largest win vs. Carolina (93-73 on 1/29/1977).
• It was Carolina's largest defeat of the season.
• The 85 points were the most by the Tigers in the series in a regulation-length game since a 100-86 Tar Heel win in Chapel Hill on 2/25/1989.
• Clemson outscored the Tar Heels by 24 points from three-point range. The Tigers made 12 of 25 threes, their third-highest percentage to date this season (48.0%).
• The Tar Heels led 23-21 with 9:11 to play in the first half. Clemson made 12 of its next 15 shots from the floor and outscored UNC, 28-10, to lead by 16 at the end of the half.
• There were eight lead changes in the first 11 minutes.
• Viktor Lakhin scored 20 of his game-high 22 points in the first half. It was the first time an opponent scored 20 or more points in the opening half since Arkansas' Tramon Mark scored 20 on 11/24/2023, in The Bahamas.
• Davis led UNC with 18 points, the seventh straight game he led or co-led UNC in scoring.
• Davis was 8 for 14 from the floor. It was the fifth time in the last six games he shot 50% or better from the floor.
• Davis (2,523 points) passed Virginia's Bryant Stith for sixth all-time in ACC scoring.
• Carolina scored 22 points off 15 Clemson turnovers. The 22 points were the most in an ACC game this season and most in any game since UNC scored 24 in a win over UCLA.
• Clemson blocked nine shots, which tied the most by an opponent this season (the loss at Pitt).
• Clemson shot 50% from the floor. The Tar Heels dropped to 1-3 this season when an opponent shoots at least 50% from the floor.
• The Tar Heels dropped to 2-7 this season in games the opponent makes more three-pointers and free throws.
• Carolina made 4 for 19 from three (21.1%). UNC dropped to 2-7 this season when it shoots under 30% from three.
