Women's Golf 14th After Day One At Moon Invitational

The 15th-ranked UNC women's golf team shot 14-over 302 Sunday in the first round of the Moon Golf Invitational at Suntree Country Club in Melbourne, Fla. The Tar Heels are 14th in the 17-team field with two rounds to play.
Carolina is 16 shots back of tournament-leader Florida State, the only team to break par in the first round.
Sophomore Ing Iadpluem was the leading Tar Heel, shooting a 1-over 73 with birdies on three of her final four holes to move into a tie for 11th. Iadpleum is three strokes behind the leaders, Nicole Gal and Caitlyn Macnab of Ole Miss, who shot 2-under 70s.
Carolina's Reagan Southerland and Inez Ng each shot 4 over 76 and Megan Streicher shot a season-high 77.
