Women's Golf Tied For 3rd At Folds of Honor

Megan Streicher shot even-par 72 and Helen Yeung shot 1-over 73 Monday to lead the North Carolina Tar Heels to a tie for third place after 18 holes in the Folds of Honor Collegiate at American Dunes Golf Club in Grand Haven, Mich.
Carolina and Kentucky shot 7-over 295, three strokes behind day-one leader Baylor and two higher than Texas A&M.
Carolina's Ing Iapluem and Inez Ng opened with 75s and Marie Prats-Rigual carded a 77.
Kentucky's Anastasia Hekkonen has a five-shot lead after shooting 6-under 66. Texas A&M's Brynn Kort and Baylor's Amelia Wan are the only other players in the field to shoot below par as they both began the 54-hole event with 1-under 71s.
