PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - Eight North Carolina wrestlers begin their quests for national championships tomorrow morning, taking part in the 2025 NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships, held at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.

Three Tar Heels earned top-15 seeds, led by No. 6 Lachlan McNeil at 149 pounds. Ethan Oakley (No. 12 at 133) and Spencer Moore (No. 14 at 125) rounded out the Carolina representation in the top-15.

Rounding out the Carolina seeding, Gavin Kane collected the 17-seed at 184 pounds, Joshua Ogunsanya earned the 21-seed at 174 pounds, Nolan Neves was slotted No. 24 at heavyweight, Sonny Santiago was tabbed the 25-seed at 157 pounds and Jayden Scott finished the Tar Heel seeding with No. 29 at 141 pounds.
