Baseball To Host Student Home Run Derby

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The Diamond Heels are hosting their first ever Student Home Run Derby at Boshamer Stadium on Monday, April 7 from 5-7 p.m.

The event will give any North Carolina student the opportunity to join the ranks of the Bosh Bombers and take to the same plate as so many Tar Heel legends that came before them. Students wishing to participate should plan on entering through the 3rd base gate and must show a valid One Card.

No cleats will be allowed on the field, but athletic shoes are encouraged. Helmets and bats will be provided by the team. The stands will be open for the full two hours, so feel free to come, hang out and cheer on your friends!
