No. 6 Women's Tennis Will Close Regular Season At Home This Weekend

The sixth-ranked University of North Carolina women's tennis team will wrap up its 2025 regular season when it hosts Miami and Florida State this weekend.
The Tar Heels will meet the Hurricanes at noon on Saturday at the Chewning Tennis Center, and Carolina will host Florida State on Sunday at noon for Senior Day when Carson Tanguilig and Lindsay Zink make their final regular season home appearances.
UNC is 18-4 overall this season, including 9-1 in the Atlantic Coast Conference, a game behind Virginia (10-2). With NC State and Cal both lurking behind the Tar Heels at 8-2 and Notre Dame at 7-3, the Tar Heels need wins this weekend to protect their seeding in next week's ACC Championship in Cary, N.C.
Carolina has won 11 of its last 12 matches.
Miami is 9-10 overall, 4-6 in the ACC and ranked #55 in this week's Intercollegiate Tennis Association team rankings. The Hurricanes have lost five of their last six matches.
FSU is 13-7, 4-6 and will play at Duke on Saturday morning.
