Five Named To All-ACC Wrestling Academic Team

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Five North Carolina wrestlers were named to the 2024-25 All-ACC Wrestling Academic Team, the conference announced Thursday afternoon.Â
Cade Lautt, Lachlan McNeil, Spencer Moore, Nolan Neves and Ethan Oakley all earned recognition for their efforts in the classroom.Â
Academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0 grade-point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one's academic career. Additionally, student-athletes must compete in at least 50 percent of their team's contests.
Lautt, McNeil and Moore earn academic honors from the conference for the second time in their careers, with Neves and Oakley collecting recognition for the first time during their time in Chapel Hill.Â
