Women's Tennis Will Meet LSU In NCAA Quarterfinal Thursday

The University of North Carolina women's tennis team will meet LSU on Thursday in an NCAA Championship quarterfinal match in Waco, Texas. The fifth-seeded Tar Heels and 13th-seeded Tigers will take the court at 2 p.m. Eastern Time at the Hurd Tennis Center on the campus of Baylor University.
The winner will meet the winner of the quarterfinal between top-seeded Georgia and eighth-seeded Duke in a semifinal on Saturday morning at 11 a.m. ET.
Alex Gruskin and Cracked Racquets will provide quarterfinal coverage, while Sam Gore and Luke Jensen will be on the call during the Saturday and Sunday matches, all on ESPN+.
Carolina is appearing in the NCAA quarterfinals for the 13th time, all coming since 2002, and is seeking its seventh final four (2010, 2014, 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023). A victory over LSU will give UNC its fourth trip to the semifinals in five years.
The Tar Heels have won 11 consecutive matches and 19 of their last 20.
