Carolina To Play At Kentucky In 2025 ACC-SEC Challenge

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – North Carolina will play at Kentucky on December 2, 2025, in the third edition of the ACC-SEC Challenge.
The Tar Heels are 1-1 in the Challenge following a win over Tennessee and loss to Alabama, both in Chapel Hill, in the previous two seasons.
The 2025 ACC-SEC Challenge will mark the first time UNC and Kentucky have played since the Wildcats' 87-83 win in Atlanta in the CBS Sports Classic on December 16, 2023.
Carolina will be making its first appearance in Rupp Arena in Lexington since December 13, 2014. The last six games in the series have been played at neutral sites.
The Tar Heels are 25-18 all-time against Kentucky.
