Women’s Soccer Adds All-Big Ten Freshman Shaela Bradley

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – University of North Carolina women's soccer has added one of the top young players in the Big Ten last season in Rutgers transfer and All-Big Ten Freshman Shaela Bradley. A midfielder, Bradly was also tabbed All-North Region Fourth Team by the United Soccer coaches and the 12th-ranked freshman on the TopDrawerSoccer Postseason Top 100 Freshman list.
Bradley started all 21 matches at Rutgers posting four goals and four assists, while helping the Scarlet Knights to the NCAA Tournament. She was an All-America two-sport athlete and 2022-23 Gatorade State High School Player of the Year out of Washington and the Portland Thorns Academy. On the soccer pitch, Bradley totaled 137 goals and 49 assists during her high school career.
She was a member of the United States Youth National Team pool from U14-U19 and attended the USYNT camp in 2023. With the Portland Thorns, Bradley was an All-America and Conference Player of the Year while leading the club to the conference championship in 2023. She was a National Selection Game participant in 2022 and 2023.
A two-sport standout, Bradley was a 400-meter state champion in 2022 and was named the All-Region Track Athlete of the Year that season while setting the school record in the 100 and 400-meters.
