Diamond Heels To Host Arizona In Super Regional June 6-8

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – No. 5 seed North Carolina is set to host Arizona in NCAA Super Regional action this weekend in Chapel Hill starting Friday, June 6, at Boshamer Stadium, the NCAA announced Tuesday morning. Carolina's first two games against the Wildcats will be played at noon with coverage on ESPN2.Â
The Tar Heels (45-13) advanced to the Super Regional round with a 14-4 victory over Oklahoma in the Chapel Hill Regional championship game on Monday.

Arizona (42-18) went 3-0 in the Eugene Regional with two wins over Cal Poly and a victory over Utah Valley.
The Tar Heels and Wildcats have played five times but have not met since May 19, 1990. Carolina trails the all-time series 2-3.Â
Season ticket holders, Ram Club members and Diamond Heel members can request ticket packages through 5 p.m. Tuesday June 3. Similarly to this past weekend's Chapel Hill Regional, a limited quantity of tickets will be available at the box office on each game day.
Parking will be available in the Rams Head Deck for $10 and in the Craige Deck for $10 on Friday until 5 PM. Parking will also be available on Friday in the Raleigh Road Visitors Lot for $1.75/hour. Beginning at 5 p.m. Friday through Sunday, there will also be free parking available in the Bowles Lot, the Raleigh Road Visitors Lot and on Stadium Drive. Disability parking is available for $10 in the Rams Head Deck.
