Faasse Named To United Soccer Coaches Forwards Watchlist

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – United Soccer Coaches released the 2025 Forwards Watchlist Tuesday morning. 2024 National Player of the Year, Kate Faasse, headlines the list for the University of North Carolina women's soccer program.
Faasse is poised for another big year on the pitch coming off a breakout junior campaign. The Phoenix, Ariz. native became the 20th national player of the year in program history after recording a nation-leading 20 goals last season. The forward also recorded 44 points and four assists. Faasse's play helped guide the team to their 23rd national championship.
