Seven Tar Heels Set For Atlas Cup And Sixes Training Camp

SPARKS, Md. – Seven Tar Heels are headed to Maryland this week with six participating in USA Lacrosse Sixes Training Camp and five Heels participating in the Atlas Cup this weekend. Chloe Humphrey, Ally Mastroianni, Marie McCool and Taylor Moreno will return to sixes competition with the U.S. team after winning gold at the World Games and Brooklyn Walker-Welch will join up with the Canadian National Team when they participate in the Atlas Cup Sept. 26-28. Current Heels Kate Levy and Eliza Osburn have been called into the U.S. training camp to gain experience and help the 12-person roster prepare for the Cup competition. The training camp takes place Sept. 23-25.

The Atlas Cup is an eight-team international event featuring the men's and women's sixes lacrosse teams from Canada, the Haudenosaunee Nationals, Puerto Rico and the United States. The tournament will be streamed live on the USA Lacrosse YouTube channel
