Thomas Signs With Denver Summit FC

DENVER, Colo. – Olivia Thomas officially joins the pro ranks after signing with Denver Summit FC, member of the National Women's Soccer League, Tuesday morning. The forward from the University of North Carolina women's soccer program will forgo her final year of eligibility becoming the latest Tar Heel to turn pro.
Thomas is set to join Denver Summit FC in their inaugural season as an organization. The Grosse Pointe, Mich. native put together an impressive resume while at Carolina and is set to make an impact on the pitch for the Summit. Thomas concluded her career at UNC earning All-America, All-ACC, and All-Atlantic Region honors.
As a prolific attacker, Thomas racked up 23 career goals and 55 points. Most recently, Thomas recorded 13 goals, seven assists, and 33 points in her junior season. The junior led the team in goals for the 2025 season.
A career highlight for Thomas was netting the game-winning goal against Wake Forest during the national championship match in 2024. Thomas' goal secured the program's 23rd National Championship and first in 12 seasons. The forward's performance earned her the 2024 College Cup Most Outstanding Offensive Player award.
Denver Summit FC is set to make their debut as an NWSL organization during the 2026 season.
