Paige & Berry Close Out ACCs With Bronze Medals

BOSTON - Makayla Paige (2:02.4) and Aaliyah Berry (8.22) highlighted the final day of the Atlantic Coast Conference. The duo brought home two podium finishes, both bronze medals.Â

Paige finished third in the women's 800m while Berry finished third in the women's 60m hurdles.

Women's pole vault group rewrote the record book as two of the three jumpers came out of the competition with personal best heights. Maddy Kelley (4.25m) led the charge with a sixth-place finish and is now second all-time in program history. Annie Kerr finished right behind Kelley and is now sixth all-time.Â

The women's 60m hurdle crew both brought home All-ACC honors as Berry finished with First-Team honors, and Kalani Witherspoon rounded out the second team list.

Turning to the mile, two of the three runners came out of the race with All-ACC honors as Aiden Neal and Vera Sjöberg both earned Second-Team recognition.

The men's team finished in eighth with 40.5 points, and the women finished in seventh with 39 points.Â
