WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The University of North Carolina men's soccer team won the 2026 Carolina Cup with a 2-1 victory in the final over Virginia Tech on Sunday. The Heels finished the Carolina Cup 5-0, outscoring opponents 14-7.
During Sunday's final, Virginia Tech jumped out in front, but Carolina scored two straight through Joschi Shelb to take a 2-1 lead into the break. The Heels kept the lead throughout the second 45' to claim the cup.
