Four Tar Heels On National Team Rosters

ATLANTA, Ga. – The U.S. U-18 and U-19 Women's National Teams are preparing for upcoming training camps and matches. University of North Carolina women's soccer has four players set to compete with the respective national teams.
Bella Devey and Lauren Malsom will represent the stars and stripes with the U-19 team in Argentina April 9-18. The national team is set to play two matches against the host. The duo recently played with the U-19 team in a series of international friendlies in Portugal. The team went 2-0-1 on the trip.
Riley Kennedy and Peyton Trayer will head to West Palm Beach for training camp with the U-18 national team April 10-17. Kennedy recently competed with the U-18 team at the Pinatar Cup 2026 where they defeated Sweden and Hungary to become champions. Trayer is an early enrollee for Carolina but comes with extensive national team experience. The goalkeeper played with the U-17 national team at the Concacaf Championship and World Cup alongside Kennedy and Malsom.
