OMAHA, NEB. – Carolina baseball stars Caden Glauber, Owen Hull, and Jason DeCaro were awarded All-America status by D1Baseball, the organization announced on Thursday.
Â
The prolific trio made North Carolina one of five programs to have three or more players on the list. It represented the most Tar Heels selected by D1Baseball in the 11-year history of the organization's All-America teams. Glauber and Hull were chosen for the first team while DeCaro landed on the second.
Â
With this selection, the freshman phenom Glauber officially cements himself as a unanimous All-American and a consensus first-team honoree with six total awards and four first-team nods. In his debut season, Glauber logged a 12-0 record with a 2.05 ERA and 114 strikeouts. Â
Â
Carolina has now had a consensus first-team All-America choice three years running as Glauber joins Jake Knapp (2025) and Vance Honeycutt (2024).
Â
Offensive engine Owen Hull picks up his first career first team All-America nod thanks to a remarkable season at the plate that saw him finish with a .393 average, 103 hits, 27 doubles, and 87 RBI. His totals gave him the second most hits and RBI in the NCAA and the third most doubles. He came up just four RBI short of setting a new single-season program record that's been held at 91 by Colin Moran since 2013.
Â
Three year weekend starter and Friday ace Jason DeCaro earned a spot on D1Baseball's second team after logging an 11-3 record with a 2.87 ERA and 99 strikeouts in his junior season. Eligible for this year's draft, he will likely finish his Carolina career with the eighth most career wins (26) and just outside the top-10 in strikeouts (247).
