Dorrance on Miah: “Miah Araba is another player with wonderful character and 4.0 level academics whose ambition is to continue to improve. She improved a lot this past spring. Her challenge is to make the travel roster. She is predominantly a midfielder.”
Senior Year (Fall 2020): Saw one minute of action against Notre Dame
Junior Year (2019): Academic team captain • saw her first action of year versus Portland, playing four minutes • played 15 minutes in win over UNLV
Sophomore Year (2018): Saw first action of year, playing 10 minutes versus Marquette • also saw two minutes of action versus Pitt and seven minutes versus Louisville • named to the 2018-19 ACC Academic Honor Roll • tapped as a 2018-19 UNC Scholar Athlete • made Dean’s List in fall semester 2018 and spring semester 2019.
Freshman Year (2017): Played in four games, totaling 33 minutes • scored a spectacular goal in the 89th minute of 5-0 win over Auburn to record her first career tally • named to the 2017-18 ACC Academic Honor Roll.
