As A Redshirt Sophomore (2021)
Competed as a sophomore after he received a waiver from the NCAA with the previous season’s cancellation due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic • Pitched in 20 games and made 17 relief appearances • Made three starts, two against Pittsburgh and one versus UCLA • Posted a 2-3 record with two saves and a 5.06 ERA • Tossed 32.0 innings and struck out 28 and walked 19 • Averaged 5.79 strikeouts per nine innings with a strikeout-to-walk ratio of 3.0 • Earned wins in consecutive appearances against Louisville (5/15) and UNCW (5/18) • Recorded back-to-back saves versus James Madison (2/21) and Virginia (2/25) • Struck out a season-high six in 4.2 innings versus Duke (4/9) • Pitched four scoreless innings of relief at Louisville (5/15).

Pitched in 22 games, with five starts, and went 3-1 with a 4.58 ERA • Picked up his first collegiate win at UNCW, striking out two in 1.2 innings • First win as a starter on 4/30 against Liberty, striking out four in 5.2 innings • Had 44 strikeouts and only 16 walks in 37.1 innings.
