Kang on rowing at UNC: "I am really glad that I tried out for the UNC rowing program because it has afforded me many great opportunities to learn, build confidence and be a part of a team. I never played sports because I didn't know how, so taking a risk and trying out for rowing, which I knew nothing about, was one of the best things I have done for myself. I love rowing and am very thankful for the decision I made."
