General Information
Has alternated time in goal in each of her first two years as a Tar Heel • shared goalkeeping duties with Hannah Daly as a freshman in 2010 and with Adelaide Gay in 2011 with each goalie traditionally played one half of each game • member of U18 National Team pool • will again compete for the starting job this year with three other talented goalies (Daly, Gay and freshman Bryane Heaberlin) • a Rising Star in the Carolina Leadership Academy Program.
Sophomore Season (2011)
Saw action in 16 games last season • played 797 minutes in goal, facing 94 shots • made 29 saves while allowing 10 goals • shared shutouts with Adelaide Gay against UNCG, Florida State, Clemson, Duke, Wake Forest, Boston College and Baylor • had a season high four saves versus Maryland • had an excellent second half against Florida State, making three saves to maintain a 2-0 win over the Seminoles • had three second-half saves as the Tar Heels upset Duke 1-0 • finished with a .744 save percentage • her goals against average was 1.13 • named to the 2012 ACC Academic Honor Roll.
Freshman Season (2010)
Played in 16 games overall and 14 games in the goal • suffered a hand injury in practice prior to the Miami game on October 17 and was not able to return to the goal until the NCAA Tournament third round against Notre Dame • did see action in two additional games as a field player • named to 2010 ACC Academic Honor Roll • started the first four games of the season against Texas A&M, Michigan State, Stanford and Missouri then began trading halves with Daly with Daly starting and Sieloff playing the second half • totaled 822:31 minutes played • faced 80 shots and had 29 saves while allowing 10 goals • finished a 1.09 goals against average and .744 save percentage • started career with a solo shutout performance against Texas A&M, making three saves • her solo shutout was first by a Tar Heel freshman since Jenni Branam in 1999 • made five saves in 110 minutes against Stanford • had four second-half saves to preserve shutout wins over Florida and Virginia • also had three saves each against Missouri and Cal Poly • preserved UNC's 1-0 win over Florida State as she saved a point blank shot by Casey Short with four seconds remaining.
ODP, National Teams & Club Soccer
Was named the U.S. U20 National Team Player Pool in 2012 • Competes for the U.S. as part of the U18 National Team pool • played club soccer for Vardar • enjoyed great success with her club team • it won six state championships and reached three regional finals • six-time most valuable goalkeeper on the state level • member of state ODP Team for seven years • regional team member for six years • member of National Team beginning in the U14s and extending through the U18s • went to Spain with the U18s for the Ten Nations Tournament • NSCAA youth All-America in 2008.
Prep
Graduated from Detroit Country Day School in Beverly Hills, Mich., on June 17, 2010 • played varsity soccer for four years as a midfielder and basketball for three years as a point guard • led soccer team to two state semifinal appearances • for four years she was an All-District, All-Region and All-State midfielder on the pitch • captain of soccer team as a senior • Michigan Scholar Athlete of the Year • played on two basketball teams which won state championships • community service club co-chair.
