Appeared in 41 games and started 33 at second base • Hit .208 with six doubles and 11 RBIs • Also scored 16 runs and stole three bases in four attempts • Took over as the starting second baseman during the Pitt series after Wood Myers was lost for the season with a broken leg • Had three multi-hit games • Drove in three runs twice - at Virginia Tech (4/18) and vs. Liberty (4/8) • Committed just three errors in 121 chances for a .975 fielding percentage.
Walters State
Started 55 games and helped lead Walters State to the NJCAA World Series • Tied for the national lead in doubles with 25 • Hit .384 with three home runs, 25 doubles, three triples, 31 RBIs and 54 runs for Walters State en route to first-team All-TCCAA honors • Former Tar Heels Jesse Wierzbicki and Cody Stubbs were also Walters State products • Coached by Joey Seaver at WSCC.
