2011-12 (at University of Maryland): Tied for fourth place in the 200-yard breaststroke at the ACC Championships with a time of 1:58.04...also placed 12th in the 100-yard breaststroke at the ACC meet in a time of 55.57...leading freshman point scorer on Maryland team...named to 2011-12 All-ACC Academic Swimming Team...swimming against Carolina in last year's dual meet for the Terrapins, he swept the 100-yard and 200-yard breaststroke events.

1. The best thing about being a Tar Heel swimmer is school pride.

year the aspect of my training I've worked on the most is core body strength.
3. My best friends on another college swimming team are the old University of Maryland Men's Swim team members.
4. My greatest strength as a swimmer is confidence.
Section #2: Hobbies & Interests
1. Away from the pool and academics I like to spend time meeting people, trying new things, playing sports, listening to music.
2. The best movie I've seen recently is Safe House.
3. If I could compete in another sport at UNC it would be badminton.
4. The music act I'd most like to see in person is Pepper.

1. After a big meet, I'd like to eat at a buffet spread that included all breakfast foods.
