Played in 22 games and made six starts as a rookie Batted .167 (4-for-24) with one home run and one double Played at both first base and third base Homered against Elon on April 20 Doubled versus Charlotte on April 7 Singled and scored against both Towson on March 23 and VCU on May 12 Made his first career start against Nebraska on February 29 Member of the ACC Academic Honor Roll. Summer 2004: Played with the Wilmington Sharks of the Coastal Plain League and batted .190 with two homers and 17 RBI.
