AS A FRESHMAN (2025)
• Appeared in 18 games, making one start for the Diamond Heels.
• Logged a 2-1 record with a 4.56 ERA with 34 strikeouts in 23.2 innings pitched.
• Part of the pitching staff that had the third best ERA in the nation (3.47) and the best in the ACC for the second straight season.
• Punched out two in the final frame against Gardner-Webb (4/01) to finish off Carolina’s first no-hitter this century. He is the first freshman in the program’s recorded history to be involved in a no-hitter.
• Picked up his first win with two strikeouts against Kansas State (2/18).
• Struck out a season-high seven batters in his longest outing (3.1 IP) in the victory over Queens (4/30).
• Got his first collegiate start against Charlotte (4/15),
• Responsible for the top three and eight of the top 20 hardest pitches thrown by Tar Heels this season, topping out at 98.10 MPH.
• Named to the All-ACC Academic Team.
HIGH SCHOOL
• Named the 2024 Gatorade Player of the Year for North Carolina in baseball, the first from his high school.
• Struck out 24 batters in the semifinals and championship game to help Grace Christian to a NCISAA state championship in his senior season.
• Earned a spot on the NCISAA 3A All-State team alongside teammate Boaz Harper.
• In his final high school season, recorded a 1.71 ERA with a whopping 127 strikeouts in 65.1 innings pitched. Opponents had a .116 batting average when facing him.
• Also hit for Grace Christian, batting .333 with 23 runs and seven steals in 2024.
• Ranked as the No. 166 overall recruit in the class of 2024 by Perfect Game and the No. 1 RHP coming out of North Carolina.
