Tyler Puryear is in his sixth year as North Carolina’s equipment/clubhouse manager in 2022 after serving as a student manager during his undergraduate years at UNC. He is responsible for ordering, distributing and maintaining the Tar Heels’ uniforms and equipment both at Boshamer Stadium and on the road. He also supervises Carolina’s staff of student managers and assists the coaching staff and director of operations with all phases of the program.

A native of Fayetteville, N.C., Puryear graduated from Carolina in 2013 with a degree in exercise and sport science with a focus on sport administration.

The son of Billy and Selina Puryear, Tyler lives in Durham.
