Full name is Connor Michael Hegan • Born Oct. 31, 2003 in Neptune, Fla. • Son of Betsy and Shawn Hegan • Older brother, Casey, played college baseball at Merrimack College • His great grandfather, Jim Hegan, was a five-time All-Star and member of the Cleveland Indians’ 1948 World Series championship team • Grandfather, Mike Hegan played 13 years of Major League Baseball with four different teams (Yankees, A’s, Pilots, Brewers) and was an All-Star in 1968 with Seattle and part of the Oakland’s 1972 world championship team.
