Received a redshirt from the NCAA with the season’s suspension on March 12 and cancellation due to a coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Competing as a senior in 2021.

Started six of 19 games and competed in 14 • scored 12 runs on nine hits • registered 29 at-bats • recorded five RBI • ended with .310 batting average • went on a five game hit streak to end the season (3/6-11) • hit two doubles • smacked home runs in back-to-back games against Gardner-Webb (3/10) and VMI (3/11) • recorded a perfect fielding percentage • had 25 putouts
2019
Spark plug for the Tar Heel offense in the postseason • Hit safely in seven of 10 postseason games, including all four ACC Tournament games, as he helped lead Carolina to the 2019 ACC championship • Hit .213 in 52 games • Made 15 starts • Had three multi-hit games • Two-hit performance, including a late-game double, against Tennessee, to help win the 2019 Chapel Hill Regional • Scored twice against both Duke and Davidson.
2018
Started 31 of 53 games • Batted .231 with two home runs, 10 RBI and 28 runs scored • Went 3 for 6 with a double in his first Tar Heel start against ECU • Cemented himself as a starter in the series against Virginia after going 4 for 9 in the final two games with four runs scored and a home run • Started 19 of the final 23 games • Two RBI against Georgia Tech on 4/21 • Made two game-saving catches in left field vs. NC State on 4/29 • Had four hits in the series to help UNC sweep the Wolfpack • Played in six postseason games.

Named to 2015 Perfect Game Honorable Mention All America team as well as earning California HM all-region honors • Batted .250 with seven RBI, three doubles, and three home runs as a senior • Career stas include a .276 batting average with 27 hits, 15 RBI and 20 runs scored (2011-2014) • Spent 2017 with Yavapai College where he batted .307 with five home runs, 27 RBI and 48 runs scored • First-team all-conference and second-team all-state in 2017 • Member of the University of Washington baseball team in 2016 but did not play due to injury.

Dallas Joseph Harris is the son of Carla and Bill Tessar • Born on July 25, 1996 • His father was a decathlete in college • His brother, Brando, pitched at the University of Oregon and was drafted by the Arizona Diamondbacks • Majoring in sociology with a minor in history.
